I really despise moving (not my private logs but the clothes I sell) but it's probably a good thing:

http://by-binnie.blogspot.com

And very soon, I'll be moving AGAIN.
But darling, the only constant is change. Yeah, yeah, yeah.

Selling more pre-loved stuff here:
http://community.livejournal.com/selltrade_kl/1668293.html#cutid1

Mail me at kitschfactory[at]gmail.com if you see anything you fancy.

I ship to Singapore as well as the rest of the world...and I welcome trades as long as I like something that you have, preferably Topshop harlequin skirts and military-inspired jackets. :D

Since the last time we spoke, I...

Cultivated an unnatural obsession with Honey Stars whilst staffing the Advanced Course late into the night in Singapore.

Tried getting used to the abundance of hair on my head.

Sulked, pouted and got kohl bleeding all over my bottom eyelids whilst bumming at Centerpoint.

Went full throttle with lace and fringe.

Questions:
  1. If I stocked gorgeous in-style (fringe/layers/lace) dresses for RM65++/SGD25++ would you jump at me or shoot me dead for being ostentatious?
  2. What about capes? :)
  3. What if PayPal worked? :D
  4. Would you buy my worn clothes? ;)

In order to fund my sudden, random Singapore escapade (more than 10 days of work ahead of me and RM700 down the drain for expenses), I have urgently decided to sell some of the clothes that I've worn very lightly. I don't sell you smelly old stuff so you'd know that these are in good condition.

Prices that I've stated here are different than those listed on selltrade_kl because those were meant for bidding purposes. Here are the Buy-It-Now prices.

Singaporean darlings, if you can get back to me on this before Sunday midnight, I'll be able to lug these down south and pass them to you via meet-up at my convenience. Along with Shelly and Yanni's LACQUER & LACE purchases.

You have my e-mail: kitschfactory[at]gmail.com

Pretty things... )

[info]superextraduper and I have joined forces to create lacquer&lace
It's basically a collective of goodies that we're selling, for very reasonable prices. The layout is not entirely done up yet due to our clashing schedules but please bear with it first.

This is a special sneak peek at my favourite item of all. I should be putting it up soon.

And finally, we ship all over the world. E-mail us at lacquer.lace@gmail.com to enquire.

Every time I feel like something cannot be done, I tend to remember this particular moment.
I don't know how the heck we managed it but we washed a Honda CRV under 5 minutes (as in soap up and wipe down) for RM100. And it was purely for charity.
So the Leadership Program isn't about learning how to be a leader...it's about making a stand for something important enough that you are able to defy all odds and make something happen out of thin air.

We raised RM4800++ in 10 hours that day. And we managed to bring the fund-raising total to RM12,000++ within 3 weeks.

This is a special shout-out to all you non-Malaysians. How's this for an idea?

Comment with your name, e-mail address and postal address.
Describe your current mood in a couple of sentences, or more.

And, receive a custom CD mixtape
in the mail
(max. 14 songs in audio CD format so you can enjoy them in the car and because I love being old school).

It's completely free of charge...
I just want something interesting to do in my spare time.

Something is definitely up with my skin. And if I fancy an honest conversation with it, it should go like this:

ME: Why hello there, epidermis. How fares thee?
SKIN: Frikkin' awful.
ME: But why?
SKIN: Because you are a screw up.
ME: Now what did I do?
SKIN: Your nocturnal habits suck. So I'm protesting by contorting myself into ugly, red textures...see that new pimple on your eyebrow? Yeah, that's the latest manifestation of my personal rebellion.
ME: ...

And my mother says that deep down, I'm a closet punk. Gosh.

When I was compiling A List Of Bands I Want To Watch In Concert Before I Die, I forgot about Muse.

I'm feeling very repentant now.

Salvador Dali's The Persistence of Memory, IS THAT YOU? Spot the monster, spot the monster!

That said and done, this is still a trippy song. And I'm in my Bloc Party, Gwen Stefani, Ladytron phase at the moment. Apart from that, one cannot help but admire those metallic Oxfords that pop up at 1:04.

Being the professional bummer that I am (yes, I do get paid in form of an irregular allowance to "sit still" at home), I spent my post-facial hours scouring through the internet for outfit inspirations because I am a very mercurial dresser. And thus I came across this random genius who actually sews her own circle miniskirts: http://childhoodflames.blogspot.com. Think Kirsten Dunst's recent Miu Miu ad campaign. Am instantly jealous. I turn to my younger sister, who is obviously the more handicraft-adept half and plead my case. Resulted in a flat-out NO. To which I sulked and pouted, to no avail. So now I am left with a huge conundrum: to dig out the compact sewing machine from the store room and hone this newfound craft myself, or to continue hammering out the Tarantella on digital piano and annoy my household till kingdom come (or when my sister finally caves in, whichever comes first). Choices, choices...I'm feeling the burden of adulthood all too soon.

Or I can just revert to Original Plan #001 and type out my personal statement by Friday instead.
