Being the professional bummer that I am (yes, I do get paid in form of an irregular allowance to "sit still" at home), I spent my post-facial hours scouring through the internet for outfit inspirations because I am a very mercurial dresser. And thus I came across this random genius who actually sews her own circle miniskirts:
http://childhoodflames.blogspot.com. Think Kirsten Dunst's recent Miu Miu ad campaign. Am instantly jealous. I turn to my younger sister, who is obviously the more handicraft-adept half and plead my case. Resulted in a flat-out NO. To which I sulked and pouted, to no avail. So now I am left with a huge conundrum: to dig out the compact sewing machine from the store room and hone this newfound craft myself, or to continue hammering out the Tarantella on digital piano and annoy my household till kingdom come (or when my sister finally caves in, whichever comes first). Choices, choices...I'm feeling the burden of adulthood all too soon.
Or I can just revert to Original Plan #001 and type out my personal statement by Friday instead.
